Serving Roles.


AUDITORIUM AND LOBBY HOSTS:  If you are outgoing and friendly, enjoy meeting new people and making them feel welcome, join our hosting team!  Hosts are positioned in the corresponding locations to connect with guests before and after the service by introducing themselves, engaging in light conversations, and answering any questions guests may have.

COLLIDE LEADER (Wednesday nights - ages K-4th gr):  Love working with elementary kids in a fun, high energy environment?  Volunteer to lead a small group of kids each week in our Wednesday night ministry!  You’ll work alongside other group leaders to get K-4th grade kids excited about experiencing Christ’s love and growing spiritually!  No preparation is required.

COOKIE BAKER:  Our cookie bakers are supplied with 10 dozen frozen cookies to be baked fresh in their own home ovens on Friday or Saturday and then delivered to the church on Sunday mornings.  Bakers serve on a rotating basis according to their preferred schedule.

ENCOUNTERS LEADER (Wednesday nights - ages 3-5):  These are adults with a heart for young kids age 3 – 5.  Encounters is one of the first stepping tones of faith for kids and a vital part of their spiritual journey.  Encounters meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00.

ENTRANCE GREETERS:  Greeters are friendly people positioned at the building entrances to hold open doors and greet people as they arrive for worship services.  A simple smile and a warm “good morning” are all this job requires!

INFORMATION DESK ATTENDANT:  The attendant at the information desk is a friendly, “customer service -minded” person who is positioned at the information desk before and after each service to answer questions, provide directions, and make information available to both guests and regular attenders. If you enjoy helping people, this just may be the serving team for you!.

KIDS AND FAMILIES GREETERS:  The Kids and Families Greeter welcomes guests who are new to LifeChange.  This person welcomes the visiting family and then guides them through the process of check-in and finding the appropriate rooms for their children.  Immediately following the service, the greeter returns to the guests to follow-up with an invitation to return.

KIDS CHURCH ASSISTANT:  This person assists the lead teacher during Kids’ Church on Sunday mornings as they work together to provide a safe and welcoming environment for the 1st - 4th graders.  No planning or preparation is required.

KIDS CHURCH TEACHER:  This leader teaches our 1st-4th grade children during the Sunday service.  The teacher offers a safe, welcoming environment for children to be taught at their own level during kids’ church.  Pre-planned lessons and activities are provided for you.

MEDICAL SUPPORT:  Considering the potential for any type of medical issue to arise on a Sunday morning we maintain a rotating schedule to ensure that a qualified medical professional is on-site during each worship service.  Guidelines for appropriate protocol will be provided.

PARKING LOT ATTENDANT:  Parking attendants serve our guests by welcoming them, helping them find a place to park, and providing umbrella protection when it rains.  Occasionally they will also provide valet service .  (Must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.)

PRESCHOOL/KINDERGARTEN ASSISTANTS:  These are caring adults with a heart for young children to assist the lead teacher in the preschool/kindergarten Sunday morning ministry as they work together to create a safe,  welcoming, environment for the children. The assistants will help the teacher with the lesson, crafts, snack, etc. as needed.

PRESCHOOL-KINGDERGARTEN HELPER:  Helpers work under the lead teacher’s supervision to provide the children with a safe and fun learning experience by playing with the children and showing Christ’s love to them.  (Helpers must be age 10 or older and have a Parent Permission form completed.)

PRESCHOOL-KINDERGARTEN LEAD TEACHER :  Teachers lead a simple lesson, craft, and snack time (all prepped and provided for you).  Teachers, assistants, and helpers work together to create a safe welcoming environment for the children and their parents.

REFRESHMENT HOST:  This role is for someone familiar with coffee preparation and simple refreshment service.  The host arrives early to make coffee before the service, attends to keeping the carafes full, puts out the cookies, and provides general oversight of the refreshment cart.

TECH, LIGHTING & SOUND TEAM:  If you have experience and skills in the areas of presentation software, audio mixing, stage setting/décor, or stage lighting, we have a place for you to serve! Some training will be provided, but experience is greatly preferred.

TODDLER ROOM HELPER:  Helpers serve in our Toddler area during the Sunday worship service and work under the teacher’s supervision to provide the toddlers with a safe and fun learning experience by playing with the children and showing Christ’s love to them.  (Helpers must be age 10 or older and have a parent permission form completed.)

TODDLER TEACHER:  Teachers lead a simple lesson, craft and snack time (these are all prepped and provided for you), and create a safe welcoming environment for the children and their parents.

USHER:  Ushers welcome people to the service, pass out programs, help people find seating, and assist during the offering.
