Messages from this series:

HAPPY PEOPLE

PASTOR JOHN FREED - JULY 12TH

This week, Pastor John explored the story of the ten lepers and challenged us to live with gratitude instead of taking God's blessings for granted. He reminded us that true joy and happiness are found not just in seeking God's gifts, but in pursuing the Giver Himself, encouraging us to become people who regularly stop and say, "Thank you, Jesus."

Freedom in christ

Pastor Steve Jones - July 5th

Continuing our Summer of Renewal series, Pastor Steve explored the freedom that comes through forgiveness. Looking at both Scripture and practical wisdom, he challenged us to release bitterness, choose grace, and trust God with the hurts we've experienced, reminding us that forgiveness doesn't excuse the offense—it frees our hearts to experience the healing and renewal God desires for us.

more of you, less of me

Pastor Todd Staal - June 28th

Pastor Todd continued our Summer of Renewal series by reminding us that a healthy soul begins when our focus shifts from ourselves to God. Looking at the story of creation and the fall, he challenged us to move from a culture of "it's all about me" to a life of "more You, less me," highlighting worship as one of the most powerful ways we renew our minds, realign our hearts, and experience God's presence.

Fear of the Future

Pastor Steve Jones - June 21st

What we believe about the future shapes how we live today. In this message, we explored the biblical truth that followers of Jesus have a secure and hope-filled future because of God’s promises. Through passages like Revelation 21 and 1 Peter 1, we were reminded that God is making all things new, that our ultimate hope is found in Him, and that this hope can transform the way we face fear, anxiety, and uncertainty.

God can be experienced

Pastor John Freed - June 14th

In week two of our mental health series, we explored how many of our struggles are shaped by the identities and labels we carry—and how God invites us into something deeper. Through Scripture, we were reminded that our thoughts and beliefs shape our lives, but our truest identity is found in Christ, where we are loved, known, and called God’s masterpiece. As we renew our minds around who God says we are, healing and transformation become possible.

THE BATTLE FOR YOUR MIND

Pastor Steve Jones - June 7th

In the first message of our mental health series, we explored how a healthy soul starts with a healthy mind. Looking at Romans 12:2, we talked about the reality that our thoughts shape our lives and how God invites us to experience transformation through the renewing of our minds. While we may not be able to change every circumstance, we can begin to think differently, grow healthier, and find hope through God’s truth. We were also challenged to memorize the acronym: “TNR PLA EP” based on Philippians 4:8, read it this week and see if you can crack the code!
